The city government said it recognizes the startup community’s immense potential to stimulate the local economy and bring about positive change and the Startup QC Program aims to create jobs, cultivate the entrepreneurial spirit, promote innovation, and develop the city’s start-up ecosystem by providing qualified entrepreneurs with equity-free financial grants of up to P1,000,000.
Smart will provide over 2.2 million QC residents with free Smart SIMs with load allocation. The mobile numbers from their new Prepaid SIMs will then be recorded on their QCitizen ID registration form and will be activated on the Smart Infocast platform.
