The report also said Globe users have the best experience when streaming video, playing multiplayer mobile games, and using voice apps — both overall and on 5G.
Mobile metrics firm Ookla said based on its latest Speedtest Intelligence report, PLDT-owned Smart Communications delivered the fastest median download speed at 33.39 Mbps for the first quarter of 2023.
The DICT stated on Wednesday, April 19, that it has received the request of the telcos to extend the SIM registration period but stressed that “at this point, there is no extension of SIM registration”.

Smart Communications has cited a report from the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) suggesting that the personalized spam text messages proliferating recently could be the handiwork of scammers who mined subscriber data from GCash and Viber.
