The Senate adopted on Monday, May 4, a resolution allowing teleconferencing during plenary sessions and committee hearings, removing any question on the legality of the outcome of the meetings.
The SEC has approved the guidelines allowing participation in corporate meetings through teleconferencing, video conferencing and other remote or electronic means of communications amid the Covid-19 lockdown.
The SEC said it will issue a memorandum circular to provide guidelines on the attendance and participation of directors, trustees, stockholders, members and other officers of corporations in regular and special meetings through remote communication.
