Recognizing the importance of e-commerce in facilitating cross-border trade in goods and services, the Philippines during the 12th WTO Ministerial Conference in Geneva, Switzerland expressed its support for the extension of the moratorium on the imposition of customs duties on electronic transmissions until the next Ministerial Conference.
The WTO said that the Trade4MSMEs website is a tool aimed at helping Philippine micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) find trade-related information that improves their ability to trade internationally.
