Nokia creates “Mobile Man” in Greenbelt 3

Phonemaker Nokia recently introduced the Mobile Man to serve as a reminder for people to recycle old mobile phones and phone-related accessories.

Mobile Man itself is made up of approximately 270 cell phones as well as phone casings, keypads, internal metallic frames/bracings, ear phones, and mother boards (including detachable parts like the speakers).

Measuring 180 centimeters tall and weighing 32 kilograms, he has found a new home near the Greenbelt 3 cinema. His bench was also constructed from old phones.

Anyone can drop off their used cell phones (any brand) at the recycling bins found in Nokia Care Centers, Globe Telecom stores and Ayala Malls nationwide.
