NetSuite names general manager for Asia Pacific and Japan

Cloud computing firm NetSuite has appointed Lee Thompson as SVP and GM in Asia Pacific and Japan.


In this role, Thompson will be heading NetSuite’s sales operations and building a sales organization across the entire Asia Pacific and Japan region, taking NetSuite’s strong footprint and more than 1,000 employees in the region to another level.

“I’m extremely proud and excited to join NetSuite and be a part of its continued growth in Asia Pacific and Japan,” Thompson said. “Only a handful of vendors today are true cloud companies, providing customers with multi-tenancy, a single version of the truth, multiple upgrades and all the benefits of a single application instance.”

Prior to his tenure at Oracle he has held senior managerial positions at Borland, Artisoft and Pilot Software and has worked in the UK, Sweden, Australia, Canada, and Singapore.
