The new version of XZ Premium will now have the 3D Creator, which was previously available only for the XZ1. This tool allows users to scan in four modes – face, head, food, or free-form – and renders 3D avatars or images available to share on social media.

Sony’s current flagship smartphone now has Predictive Capture that detects smiles even before pressing the shutter button. It then allows users to pick the best from a selection of up to four shots.

The smartphone will also have the Autofocus Burst recognizing tracks and captures sequences of moving objects ensuring blur-free action shots.

XZ Premium’s operating system update includes improved sound quality with tuning improvements to the  stereo speakers, and Qualcomm aptX HD audio, and easy access to action menus through long pressing of the app icon.
