The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has again issued a warning to the public, particularly the beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, on text scams circulating.

According to concerned individuals who have called up the Pantawid Pamilya National Program Monitoring Office (NPMO), text messages from Pinoy?s Charity foundation tells of a certain amount of money that somebody can get from DSWD.

The text states ?Congratulations, from President Noy-Noy Aquino Foundation 4Ps Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, your sim # won P950,000 as second prize winner in the Handog Pangkabuhayan raffle promo, DTI P#9513 s?13. Please text your complete name, age, address, work.?

The DSWD said this text message is not true because the agency does not hold raffle promos or draws.

The DSWD is urging all those who will receive this text message to immediately report to the nearest DSWD office or text to the Pantawid Pamilya Grievance Text Hotline 0918-912-2813.

?We have already issued earlier warnings before but there are really people out to mislead so let us all be vigilant,? DSWD Secretary Dinky Soliman said.
