With the consumer appliance market getting cannibalized by Chinese manufacturers, Sharp Philippines is turning its focus on the local enterprise sector with the opening of its first business solutions showroom in the country.
Located in Pasig City, the new Sharp Business Equipment Division (BED) Total Business Solutions showroom exhibits the company’s latest line-up of imaging solutions designed for corporate offices, commercial spaces, and classrooms.
“We offer a small but diverse line-up of equipment that anticipate your business’s unique requirements” said Sharp Philippines president Takahiro Tanaka.
Tanaka said the Sharp BED showroom currently displays Sharp’s newest large-format and high-performance LCD and LED monitors, high resolution desktop monitors and high quality print-on-demand multi-function printers.
Peter Villanueva, senior manager for new business of Sharp Philippines, said the showroom now houses “the biggest LED TV in the country” — the 90-inch Sharp Quattron (LC-90LE740X).
The Sharp Quattron is a 3D-capable TV with UV A X-Gen Panel, with AquoMotion 200 for better detail and less blur. Its 1080/24p signal input allows for the cinema-quality image levels of pictures, videos, or company presentations. For enhanced audio quality, it uses SRS TruSurround HD, Bass Enhancer and Audio Engine LSI.
Among the other products at the showroom include the Interactive Display Panel Touchscreen Whiteboard (PN-L702B), the 60-inch LCD monitor Standalone Display (PN-A601), the Video Wall Multi-Screen Display (PN601), the 32-inch 4K2K Desktop Display (PN-K321), the Multi-Touch Display (LL-S201A), among others. — Tom Noda
