Vivo PH unveils V7 Plus flagship smartphone, names celebrity endorsers

Vivo Philippines officially revealed their newest flagship phone — the V7 Plus — in a grand launch held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Pasay City.

The Vivo V7 Plus paraded its 5.99-inch all-screen display, which competes with the current trend of bezel-less smartphones.

The Chinese smartphone firm elevates the selfie competiton with V7 Plus’ 24-megapixel front camera that can capture with smart photography algorithms to provides crisp and natural-looking photos. The Face Beauty 7.0 also allows user to enhance their selfies and when in video calls.

Flipping the phone over shows the handset’s 16-megapixel rear camera.

Vivo officials were also excited to present their upgraded security features. In addition to password PIN and fingerprint scanner, the Vivo V7 Plus can also identify the users’ Face ID so they can unlock the phone by just staring at the front panel.

The Vivo? V7 Plus comes with Funtouch OS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat that runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. It is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64 GB ROM. Accommodating two Nano SIM cards, the handset is also powered by a 3,225 mAh battery.

Vivo Philippines also announced their celebrity brand ambassadors such as Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, KZ Tandingan, Darren Espanto, Jason Dy, Kisses Delavine, Maymay Entrata, Loisa Andalio, Chienna Filomeno, Mccoy De Leon, Paul Salas, Boyband PH, Barbie Forteza, Julie Anne San Jose, Inigo Pascual, and more.

Coming in Champagne Gold and Matte Black variants, the Vivo V7 Plus is priced at P17,990.
