Indonesian online gaming firm UniPin has officially begun its Southeast Asian expansion by launching its Philippine operations on Tuesday, May 16, at the High Grounds Cafe in Quezon City.
UniPin has tapped local partners such as SM Cyberzone in organizing eSport competitions across the country, and TNC Philippine Holdings as the official distributor.
Ashadi Ang, CEO of UniPin, said they picked the Philippines as its first expansion market in Southeast Asia because the country has a huge population of more than 100 million people coupled with a decent percentage of residents possessing bank accounts at 14% to 16% and is similar in terms of market trends with Indonesia.
“Currently, UniPin has more than 300 game publishers worldwide and has a total of 10,000 game titles. This enables us to serve 30 million gaming communities which is in line with our slogan ‘One for All, All for One,'” added Ang.
With a vast titles of games such as Mobile Legends Bang Bang, Player Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG), Dota 2, League of Legends, UniPin said it is committed in creating a vibrant online community in Southeast Asia region. It has also collaborated with local companies to provide gamers with various payment options.
