With its revamped design, the V11 adopts a new “Halo Fullview Display” with its 6.3-inch screen and 19:9 aspect ratio. It also has in-display fingerprint scanning and has a screen-to-body percentage of 91.25%.

“The sensor hidden under the screen verifies your identity by accurately recognizing the reflected light from your fingertips. It’s a ground-breaking unlocking experience that still feels natural,” said Vivo Philippines executive Joma Morales.

Vivo also introduced new colors for its new V11: Starry Night and Nebula. “When you look up at the night and see shining stars against the deep blue sky, it evokes within us the same awe that we feel when we look at the Vivo V11,” enthused Morales.

In addition to its new look, the Vivo V11 promises a smarter and more powerful user experience. The unit runs on a new AI processor with a 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM. Alongside a better software comes an energy-efficient AI chip and large 3315mAh battery.

Vivo also upgraded the phone’s photographic capabilities by integrating AI into its camera. Its front camera has a resolution of 25 megapixels, with a newly updated AI “Face Shaping” technology that enhances the user’s facial features.

It also features a dual rear camera combination, which are both controlled by an AI algorithm. The algorithm has also been optimized to take backlight and low light photographs, being able to identify different objects in the frame, and creating a clear image regardless of the lighting conditions.

The Vivo V11 also debuted Vivo’s new AI assistant, Jovi. According to the company, Jovi recognizes what users see and instantly performs related searches. It also becomes the user’s voice-powered personal assistant, ready to help for a handful of actions at a time.

The new Vivo V11 will sell for P19,999 in tech shops nationwide. A lower-end version, the V11i, will retail for P15,999.
