Accenture expands presence in PH with new office in Alabang

Tech firm Accenture has expanded its operations in the Philippines with the opening of a new office in Alabang, its first facility in the southern part of Metro Manila.

Present during the opening of the Alabang facility were (from left to right) John Vingno, associate director at Accenture Workplace; Anton Guidote, director for operations at ATCP in the Philippines; Ambe Tierro, ATCP lead and global AI capability and delivery lead; George Son Keng Po, director for delivery at ATCP in the Philippines; Lito Tayag, country managing director at Accenture in the Philippines; and Sheryll Quito, human resources lead for Accenture Technology

The company said its latest expansion reinforces its commitment to continue to grow its operations in the country and promote the welfare of its employees through flexible work arrangements.

Located in Axis Tower 1 in Alabang, the new facility supports the delivery of innovative offerings and solutions from Accenture’s Advanced Technology Centers Philippines (ATCP).

The site also includes an Accenture recruitment center that will facilitate and process applications from nearby cities and other parts of southern Luzon, serving as a gateway to tap and engage the talent pool from the area and nearby provinces.

The center, which is located at Northgate Plaza B, will offer one-day processing for walk-in applicants in entry-level positions and serve returning and prospective candidates in completing interviews and requirements.

Just as important, the Alabang office provides Accenture employees who live in the area and nearby provinces with the flexibility to work near their homes, reducing their commutes and maximizing time for family and personal pursuits.

The new Alabang site provides a secondary location for employees living in the south. Employees may also reserve or book meeting rooms and work spaces in the facility.

“Accenture has been operating in the Philippines for more than 30 years, and we remain committed to our business in the country as we expand our footprint to Alabang,” said Lito Tayag, Accenture’s country managing director for the Philippines.

“Our work-near-home initiatives provide our employees with flexible work solutions, which are in line with our commitment to promote the welfare of our employees.”

Ambe Tierro, ATCP head and Accenture’s global artificial intelligence capability and delivery lead, said the new site will provide its employees with a work-near-home option, giving them the flexibility to spend more time innovating and incubating new solutions while looking after their family responsibilities and personal interests.

“We are delighted to welcome the team to our newest home in Alabang as we continue to accelerate the delivery of technology offerings and solutions including cloud, intelligent platforms and application security services that help our clients pivot and lead in the digital age,” she said.
