Photography firm Fujifilm has released the latest addition to its Fujifilm Instax series — the “mini Link” smartphone printer which also has a mobile application that allows basic photo editing before printing on-the-go.
On an entire charge, it is capable of continuous printing of up to a hundred photos – the reason why it is being marketed as the perfect partner for social gatherings and parties.
Inside its Bluetooth-enabled mobile application, users can simply resize their photos, tweak settings, and even apply filter presets. The device is lightweight at 200 grams and can also fit in the palm of a user’s hand.
The application, which was released on September 29, has been updated last October 8 and has been downloaded for than 1,000 times. Aside from technical features like cropping and image adjustments, the mini Link app also has quirky features like Match Test which shows the compatibility of people in the frame.
Meanwhile, the Video Print mode enables the user to print a specific time frame from a video much like a screenshot, and the Party Print enables five connected devices to send their photos to the device, which in turn produces a collage-like image.
The mini Link comes equipped with a built-in motion sensor that can act as a remote control for the camera app of the connected smartphone. While in the gallery, swiping up can also trigger an automatic printing command to the printer.
Aside from mobile connectivity, X and GFX Series users, through the Fujifilm Camera Remote App, can transfer data to the mini Link app and print the picture instantly. Every single photo is printed in just 12 seconds, one of the series’ fastest performers to date.
Retailing for P6,999.00, purchasing the compact smartphone printer also entitles customers to a complimentary pack of Mini Glossy 10s which is also available in all Fujifilm Instax dealers in the country. For online purchasing, the mini Link is available at Wonder Photo Shop at wonderphotoshop.ph.
