REVIEW | Logitech B110 wired mouse

It’s great to review fancy premium mice that are feature-packed and crazy expensive, but we should probably also take a look at less exciting but practical everyday-use mice. This is where the Logitech B110 wired mouse comes in. So, let’s put the B110 to the test.

Design and Package

The packaging is quite minimalist, just a tiny rectangular box with the mouse and some documentation inside. These mice are quite commonly bulk-ordered in offices, and this packaging style lends itself well to large box set packaging.

The mouse housing is plastic, and black in color. It’s ambidextrous, with a left and right click on either side of the scroll wheel. The button clicks are tuned to be silent, while giving the same amount of play and feel as regular mice. It connects to USB via a wired cable.

Overall, it is very unobtrusive and highly functional for a mass market audience. This is likely the sort of appeal Logitech was aiming for.

Specs and Performance

The Logitech B110 is what you can call a silent performer. It won’t turn any heads, but it gets the job done. It sacrifices frills for functionality.

Spec Sheet:

  • Color: Black
  • Connectivity: Wired, USB
  • Weight: 85g
  • Sensor Type: Optical
  • Sensor Resolution: 1000 DPI
  • Buttons: 3

As part of our research process, we also gathered notes from others who were using the same mice for graphic design and PowerPoint presentations, and they had no complaints about the performance of these mice.

Software

Given its simplicity, and the lack of customizable buttons, RGB, or other elements, the mouse does not need any specialized software. So just plug it into a free USB port, and you’re good to go. It’s listed to be Windows 7 and upward compatible; we tested it on a Windows 10 machine and had no issues.

Value

The B110 mouse retails for P140 on Shopee, which is incredible value. While several no-name brands are slightly cheaper, it’s always a gamble with them. Not to mention early failure, no warranty, and such. So being able to get something basic from a reputable brand like Logitech is a big plus.

Conclusion

There was a time when the budget-conscious couldn’t include a Logitech mouse in their PC build; but now with the affordable and practical B110 mouse, this is a possibility. So, whether you’re right or left-handed, you’re safe and set with this mouse from Logitech.

  • Model: B110 s (Part # 910-005508)
  • Price: P140
  • Verdict: Logitech mouse goodness for the masses
