Garcia, in his keynote speech, said the anniversary celebration not only marked the passage of time but signifies a journey of growth, innovation, and transformation for the company.

“It is a celebration of the collective efforts, the commitment of our team, and the unwavering spirit that have fueled our success in the country,” he said.

“As we commemorate this milestone, we also delve into the intense changes that modern digital transformation has ushered in, redefining the very fabric of how businesses operate, how to create value, and how to engage with our dear customers.”

Over the past 12 years, Garcia said SoftwareOne has navigated challenges, harnessed opportunities, and continuously evolved to stay at the forefront of the tech industry landscape.

“We have witnessed the rapid evolution of the digital age – from the early days of software licensing to the intricately connected and data-driven ecosystems that defined our present. Each chapter of our journey has been marked by the commitment of our team, the support of our partners, and the trust of our customers,” he recalled.

He said the company has embraced change not merely as a necessity but as an opportunity to redefine possibilities, adding that it has adopted a culture that encourages new ideas, experimentation, and the pursuit of unique solutions.

“The resilience we have demonstrated, especially in the face of challenges, reflects our commitment to adapting, growing stronger and enriching our experience. That is why we are proud to say we have changed,” he said.

Garcia then touched on the concept of digital transformation, which he said has matured from a buzzword into a strategic imperative — especially during the Covid-19 pandemic which accelerated digital transformation in the country.

“Modern digital transformation goes beyond the deployment of technology. It is about reimagining business models, enhancing customer experiences, and fostering a culture of continuous innovation driven by the fusion of technology and human ingenuity,” the executive said.

Garcia said the emergence of technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and predictive analytics has propelled data into the spotlight, transforming it from an inactive asset into an active catalyst for change

“SoftwareOne has embraced the data revolution, leveraging insights to guide our strategies and further enhance our offerings. But with this capability it is our responsibility to ensure data security, privacy, and ethical use are still maintained,” he said.

“As we celebrate our achievements, we will remain vigilant in safeguarding the integrity of data and promoting practices that empower individuals — while driving progress,” Garcia said.

Garcia stressed that technology has the potential to bridge gaps and amplify under-represented voices but it can also bring forth challenges related to access, bias, and digital divide.

“As we navigate the complex landscape of digital transformation, we must also ensure that the benefits are inclusive and equitable. SoftwareOne is committed to promote inclusivity, by championing diversity in our teams and promoting accessibility in our solutions,” he said.

In closing, the executive cited everyone who contributed to the success of SoftwareOne Philippines over the past 12 years.

“Our journey has been marked by shared dreams, collaborative efforts, and the pursuit of excellence. As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, let us draw inspiration from our achievements and aspire to create a future — where technology is a force for good… where innovation knows no bounds, and where the spirit of transformation continues to thrive,” he said.

“Thank you for being part of our journey. Thank you for being part of this momentous event. We are excited and we look forward to a stronger partnership with you as we bring you a Bigger, Better and Bolder SoftwareOne,” he concluded.

The anniversary celebration stressed a clear emphasis on customer-centricity, data-driven insights, collaboration, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

SoftwareOne said its mission is straightforward yet profound: to streamline the complexities of software management, enabling businesses to focus entirely on their core objectives while maintaining full control over their software assets.

In conclusion, SoftwareOne represents the pinnacle of innovation and excellence in the world of software solutions and technology services.

As they chart a course towards a promising future, SoftwareOne said it remains an inspiring example of what can be achieved when technology, innovation, and human-centered values converge in the ever-expanding realm of information technology.
