Design platform Canva has partnered with Ayala Malls to launch the “Creativity Project,” a year-long initiative that leverages Apple technology to make digital design tools more accessible to Filipinos.
Set to run from Sept. 2025 to Aug. 2026, the program will transform participating Ayala Malls into interactive design spaces. Mall-goers can try Canva’s platform on Apple devices provided by partner retailers Beyond the Box, Digimap, and Power Mac Center.
The collaboration aims to integrate creativity with technology, offering users hands-on experiences in digital design. Each month, selected works created through the project will be featured on Ayala Malls’ hoardings, turning public spaces into showcases of Filipino talent.
The partnership begins with the Canva Creative Corner pop-up event at One Ayala in Makati from August 22–24, 2025. Visitors can join guided Design Jam sessions using iPads, exploring Canva’s drag-and-drop tools for professional-grade visual communication without the steep learning curve of traditional software.
“Our mission is to empower the world to design, and this partnership with Ayala Malls is a significant step toward making that a reality for Filipinos,” said Maisie Littaua, Canva Philippines country manager.
“By pairing Canva’s platform with the seamless performance of Apple devices, we’re showing how technology can make creativity more intuitive and enjoyable.”
Beyond the pop-up, the initiative will roll out monthly design prompts, encouraging participants to continuously experiment with digital tools and techniques.
