Startup rolls out DOST-backed real estate platform

Reelist8, a startup supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), has introduced a digital platform aimed at easing housing affordability challenges in the Philippines.

The company’s ecosystem includes PropertyAuctions.ph, which allows users to find and bid on below-market properties, and Buildin.com.ph, a project management tool that helps contractors and designers generate real-time pricing takeoffs from floor plans.

Reelist8 said the integrated system is designed to help prospective homeowners choose properties, estimate renovation costs, and connect directly with accredited builders.

The platform offers users a full valuation of a property — including construction or renovation expenses — with no hidden charges. Financing options with down payments starting at 0.5% are also available.

To introduce the platform, Reelist8 will hold a free online workshop on November 21, 2025 for buyers, investors, contractors, and designers.

The event will include live demonstrations of PropertyAuctions.ph and Buildin.com.ph, covering features such as 2D/3D modeling, invoicing, and team communications.

“Our aim is to ensure that owning a home is not just a privilege for the select few, but a basic human right that everyone can access,” Reelist8 CEO Marianne Dela Cruz said.
