Skyro rebrands as it expands beyond consumer lending

Digital finance platform Skyro has begun rolling out a new brand identity in the Philippines as it seeks to expand beyond one-off consumer financing into a broader range of financial services.

The redesigned Skyro Philippines app will be released gradually, along with updated customer communications, advertising, and materials for partner merchants.

Skyro said it has accumulated more than 7 million registered users and a credit portfolio exceeding $200 million since entering the Philippine market in 2022. The company also reported reaching operating break-even in the first half of 2026.

The Philippines, Skyro’s largest and most mature market, is the first to adopt the new identity. The company plans to introduce the branding in its other markets as it expands internationally, including a planned entry into Saudi Arabia announced in August.

“We want to move beyond one-off lending and become an everyday financial partner, offering a broader set of products that support people and small businesses through different moments in their lives,” Skyro co-founder and co-CEO Arsen Liametov said.

“Our ambition is for Skyro to fit more naturally into those moments, building lasting relationships with customers as their needs evolve. The new identity reflects that direction and gives us a platform to build on what we have proven in the Philippines as we enter new markets.”

The new design carries the tagline “Naturally, yours” and features a central symbol inspired by the analemma, the figure-eight pattern formed by the Sun’s changing position in the sky during the year.

Skyro said the rebrand comes as it develops products beyond financing individual purchases. These include SkyroCredit, a reusable digital credit line that customers can access through QR Ph. Borrowers can use their available credit, repay the amount used and draw from the credit line again without submitting a new application.

“Skyro started with a simple idea: use AI and alternative data to make credit faster and more accessible for people who are often underserved by traditional lending. That model has proven itself, and the business has now grown beyond its original focus. With SkyroCredit already launched, more features designed around customers’ needs on the way, and new financial products in development, Skyro has started to outgrow its old branding,” Skyro co-founder and co-CEO Nasim Aliev said.

“This rebrand gives that evolution a clear identity and a platform for what we are building next. Whether that’s making a purchase, upgrading something at home, getting something you’ve been wanting, or simply making your next move possible, we want Skyro to give people more ways to move forward,” he added.

The company uses an AI-based credit assessment system that analyzes alternative data to evaluate applications, including those from customers who may have limited access to conventional lending.

Skyro currently works with more than 10,000 partner stores and over 3,000 merchants in the Philippines. Small and medium-sized enterprises account for more than 60% of its transaction volume, according to the company.
