The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max became available in the Philippines on Oct. 16 through technology retailers Beyond the Box and Digital Walker, following midnight launch events that drew more than 300 customers across three Metro Manila venues.
The launches were held at Beyond the Box branches at Uptown Mall in Bonifacio Global City and Robinsons Ermita, and at Digital Walker’s Glorietta Activity Center.
The events featured performances by bands Lola Amour and Over October, as well as appearances by content creator Niana Guerrero and other personalities. The retailers also distributed giveaways and raffle prizes as part of the launch activities.
According to the retailers, the combined value of freebies, giveaways, queuing incentives, and raffle prizes reached P12 million.
Some customers began lining up ahead of the official release. At the Beyond the Box Uptown Mall branch, one customer reportedly started queuing at 9 p.m. on Oct. 14, more than a day before the phones went on sale.
Guerrero later accompanied the customer to the store to claim the new iPhone.
Burgundy emerged as the most popular color choice during the midnight launches, according to the retailers. The release materials did not provide sales figures or a breakdown of customer preferences by model or color.
