Manny Pay has denied reports or speculation that it is shutting down, saying it is preparing a new version of its payment app for launch next month.
In an official statement, Manny Pay Management said it was onboarding additional partners and working to increase the capacity and reliability of its payment services.
The company said it intended to ensure that the transition would not prejudice users’ accounts or transactions, although it did not provide details on the planned changes or identify the new partners.
Manny Pay also said it would release further updates as it prepares to roll out the new app.
However, the company’s clarification leaves questions about the transition. An advisory on its website says changes to existing Manny Pay accounts will take effect on Nov. 10, 2026, and that any remaining balances will be converted to Traxion Pay accounts.
The advisory says Traxion Pay will handle account-related concerns after that date. Customers who want to use future services offered directly by Manny Pay may need to register separately on its new platform.
Manny Pay is operated by 7th Pillar Integrated System Corp., a technology company chaired by former senator and boxing champion Manny Pacquiao.
The company received an Operator of Payment System registration from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas in April 2026.
The company’s leadership includes Marc Bundalian as president and CEO, Marco Gregorio as vice president, and Glenn Gacal as chief legal officer.
The company has yet to publicly clarify the full relationship between the planned new Manny Pay app and the transition of existing accounts to Traxion Pay.
It also remains unclear whether the November transition will mark the end of the existing e-wallet service or form part of a broader restructuring ahead of the new app’s launch.
