HP Philippines has announced the HyperX Omen Max 16, a gaming laptop equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU.
The laptop features a 16-inch 2.5K OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 240Hz. Its Omen Tempest Cooling Pro system includes a third fan, while a Fan Cleaner function is designed to reduce dust buildup in the cooling system.
The announcement comes as HP brings its gaming systems, peripherals, and software under HyperX, which now serves as the company’s main gaming brand.
The portfolio includes Omen laptops and desktops, gaming monitors, headsets, keyboards, mice, and microphones.
“By bringing together our gaming systems, peripherals, and software together under HyperX, we want to give gamers more ways to personalize their setups and enjoy their gaming experience. Our focus is on delivering performance while giving gamers more flexibility in how they play,” said Aimen Tan, consumer personal systems category head at HP Philippines.
HP’s software tools include Omen AI Beta, which automatically adjusts hardware, operating system, and game settings for performance optimization.
According to the company, the software adapts its adjustments over time based on gaming requirements and usage patterns.
Other applications include Omen Gaming Hub for gaming-related system controls and HyperX Ngenuity for customizing compatible peripherals.
Local pricing and availability have yet to be disclosed.
