E-commerce firm Lazada is putting the spotlight on consumer trust and shopping convenience as it kicks off its annual 9.9 Mega Brands Sale, running from September 8 to 11.
Through LazMall’s Authenticity Guarantee, the e-commerce platform is assuring buyers that purchases from its flagship channel are genuine, backed by a 100% authenticity policy, “2X Money Back” guarantee, fast shipping, and free returns.
This year’s 9.9 event features discounts of up to 90 percent on branded products, vouchers worth as much as ₱2,000, and free shipping with no minimum spend.
The campaign opened with a special LazLive show on September 8, which included interactive games and exclusive voucher giveaways.

In addition to discounts, Lazada is also promoting its AI-powered shopping assistant, AI Lazzie, designed to provide personalized product recommendations and enhance the customer journey. Users can interact with AI Lazzie during the sale period to unlock LazRewards of up to ₱100 daily.
Pauline Castro, head of user product operations at Lazada Philippines, said artificial intelligence is central to creating a more efficient shopping experience.
