Salmon Group unveils proprietary affiliate platform to empower creators

In a bid to resonate with younger Filipinos, fintech company Salmon Group hosted its inaugural Salmon Press Day on October 29, spotlighting its mission to simplify and democratize access to modern financial services.

Salmon Group’s journey includes the transformation of the Rural Bank of Sta. Rosa in Laguna into what is now Salmon Bank (Rural Bank), underscoring the company’s long-term goal of providing digital-first banking solutions to everyday consumers.

During the event, Salmon Bank chairman and co-founder Raffy Montemayor reported strong performance, including nearly threefold year-on-year growth in deposits, over 40% quarter-on-quarter expansion in loans, and a tripling of equity within a year.

He added that Salmon Bank maintains a capital adequacy ratio three times higher than Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) requirements, reflecting disciplined management and sound governance.

The event also introduced Salmon’s latest marketing campaign, “Bank On It,” aimed at helping Filipinos build financial confidence through informed decision-making.

A key highlight of the press day was the launch of the Salmon Affiliate Platform — developed and introduced by Salmon Group.

Touted as the first proprietary affiliate program among consumer finance companies and banks in the Philippines, the platform is designed to boost opportunities for Filipino creators and influencers.

Through the program, creators can earn up to ₱500 for every approved Salmon Credit Line application made via their referral links.

The initiative includes features tailored to both major and emerging content creators, such as monthly payouts and a creator dashboard that provides real-time tracking of conversions and commissions.

The flagship product promoted under the platform, the Salmon Credit Line, offers a flexible revolving credit facility with no annual fees, a virtual card, limits of up to ₱100,000, and the longest grace period in the market — up to 62 days interest-free.

Salmon Group co-founder Pavel Fedorov said the initiative reinforces the company’s goal of expanding financial access while creating new income opportunities for creators.

“Through the Salmon Affiliate Platform, we’re enabling new opportunities for creators to enhance their income while facilitating greater access to modern financial services for more Filipinos,” he said.
