IWG to open 6 new workspace sites in PH in Q1

International Workplace Group (IWG) will open six new flexible workspace centers in the Philippines in the first quarter of 2026, as part of a broader expansion plan that targets 29 new sites nationwide this year.

The rollout will bring IWG’s total footprint in the country to 76 centers by the end of 2026, up from its current network, reflecting continued demand for hybrid and flexible work arrangements across both Metro Manila and key provincial cities.

The six new locations are:

  • Spaces Calle Industria – Quezon City
  • Spaces The Stiles Enterprise Plaza – Makati City
  • HQ Kalayaan Building – Makati City
  • Regus E-Square Mall – San Juan City
  • Regus i2 Building – Cebu City
  • Regus Island Central Mactan – Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu

IWG operates globally through brands such as Regus, Spaces, and HQ, offering co-working areas, private offices, and meeting facilities. The company currently has more than 5,000 locations worldwide across 121 countries.

Beyond the Q1 launches, IWG said it has already signed more than 100 locations in the Philippines, including expansions in Novaliches, Imus (Cavite), Marikina, Caloocan, and Panglao (Bohol), signaling a strategy that goes beyond traditional central business districts toward decentralized work hubs.

Industry data cited by the company shows that hybrid work is becoming the dominant model. In its 2026 Asia Pacific Workplace Insights Report, Colliers reported that 82 percent of Philippine organizations are adopting hybrid work models, with 32 percent planning workplace upgrades next year.

Marc Descrozaille, CEO for Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific at International Workplace Group PLC, said: “We are expanding our presence across the Philippines with six new centers this quarter, at a time when flexible and platform working is becoming the default model for companies of all sizes.

“Our model not only supports better work-life balance and improves employee satisfaction, but also helps businesses boost productivity, scale efficiently, and manage costs, all while giving teams access to thousands of professional locations around the world.”

Rowena Bravo-Natividad, country manager of IWG Philippines, added: “We’re excited to bring six new IWG centers to key cities across the Philippines. Our goal is to provide businesses of all sizes with flexible, fully equipped workspaces that make hybrid working seamless and productive.

“These openings reflect the growing demand for high-quality office solutions, and we’re proud to offer work environments that are professional, adaptable, and close to where people live.”

IWG said its Philippine expansion follows its “capital-light” strategy, which relies on partnerships with local property owners to convert underused buildings into commercial flexible workspaces, rather than owning properties directly.
