Okada Manila is moving beyond its physical casino operations with the launch of “Okada Play,” an online gambling platform that will allow the integrated resort to offer digital casino games outside its Entertainment City complex.
The platform signals Okada Manila’s entry into the online gambling space, as it seeks to reach players beyond on-site visitors and tap into the growing demand for digital wagering.
To roll out the platform, operator Tiger Resort, Leisure and Entertainment, Inc. (TRLEI) has partnered with PhilWeb Corporation, which will supply the underlying technology, including gambling content, infrastructure, and operational support.
The shift reflects a broader industry trend in which brick-and-mortar casinos are expanding into online channels to diversify revenue streams and engage users remotely.
“This partnership reflects our continued commitment to providing best-in-class gaming solutions to industry leaders,” said PhilWeb president Brian Ng.
“By working with TRLEI, we are enabling the extension of a globally recognized luxury gaming brand into the online space through a robust and scalable platform.”
Okada Manila said the move is part of its strategy to scale its digital presence while maintaining its premium brand positioning.
“Okada Play marks a strategic step in scaling our digital gaming presence and reinforcing our leadership in the market,” said Okada Manila president and COO Nobuki Sato.
“By expanding our platform portfolio, we can reach new player segments while continuing to elevate the premium digital experience associated with the Okada brand.”
Details such as the platform’s rollout timeline, regulatory approvals, and geographic scope have not been disclosed.
