Strava has rolled out support for 10 additional languages — including Tagalog — as it expands its global user base and localizes its platform experience across more markets.
The fitness tracking app said the update brings its total language support to 24 across its products and related services, with the newly added languages including Czech, Danish, Malay, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Swedish, Tagalog, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese.
“With the addition of these new languages, Strava is more international than ever before, enabling users to unlock the full Strava experience in their native language,” said Louisa Wee, chief marketing officer at Strava.
“The expansion is a key part of our broader global growth strategy, which includes regional partnerships, localized content libraries, and market-specific challenges and programs launching later this year.”
Strava said the language expansion is aimed at improving accessibility and engagement, particularly in regions where localized content and community features are critical to user growth.
Free users will continue to have access to core features such as activity tracking across more than 50 sports and social connectivity, while paid subscribers can access additional tools including personalized workout recommendations, route planning, and advanced training insights.
The company currently has over 195 million users across more than 185 countries.
