HedgeServ rebrands as HS Financial Technologies

Global fund administration provider HedgeServ has rebranded as HS Financial Technologies (HSFT), underscoring the growing role of technology and automation in investment operations — a trend increasingly relevant to the Philippine financial services sector.

The company said the name change reflects the evolution of its proprietary technology platform, which supports alternative asset managers in handling operational complexity, reporting requirements, and access to data.

While the announcement did not identify Philippine clients or local expansion plans, it highlights how investment service providers are using technology to automate workflows and connect information across business functions.

“The alternative investment industry has changed dramatically over the past decade,” said Justin Nadler, president of HS Financial Technologies.

“Managers today face increasing complexity, greater reporting demands, and the need for real-time access to data across their organizations. Our new brand reflects the company we have become — a technology-enabled partner that combines industry expertise with innovative solutions to help clients operate more efficiently and scale with confidence.”

HSFT provides fund administration, front-office, middle-office, treasury, tax, investor services, regulatory, and data solutions. Its clients include hedge funds, private credit managers, private equity firms, real estate managers, and other alternative investment organizations worldwide.

According to the company, its technology enables clients to automate workflows, improve connectivity, and access information across their operations.

“Our foundation has always been exceptional client service, deep expertise, and a relentless focus on helping our clients succeed,” added Jim Kelly, chief executive officer of HS Financial Technologies.

“The HSFT brand better captures our focus on technology based on our belief that technology will continue to transform how alternative asset managers operate, grow, and create value.”

The company said its ownership, leadership team, service model, and legal entities remain unchanged following the rebrand.
