IBPAP president and CEO Jack Madrid said he expects the industry to sustain its strong momentum with a target of $39 billion in revenue and 1.8 million jobs this year. By 2025, he said the industry anticipates generating 2 million jobs which would mark the milestone in the history of IT-BPM in the country.
The National Privacy Commission noted that the pieces of evidence gathered by its Complaints and Investigation Division proved that the Comelec servers or its systems were not breached, as opposed to the report of Manila Bulletin that falsely claimed that the hacked data included information that could have affected the 2022 elections.
In fact, the National Privacy Commission (NPC) said educational institutions may even process personal data to achieve the purposes within its educational framework without the need for consent of the data subject.
The COA made the recommendation after it found “misstatements” in the NPC’s record pertaining to national government agencies, office supplies inventory, and furniture and fixtures for the year 2020.
As it prepares for the first “digitized and localized” Bar examinations in the country’s history, the SC has also prescribed the requirements for the laptop computers that examinees will be using.
