Aboitiz Data Innovation (ADI) has announced its target of expanding its capabilities in data science and artificial intelligence (AI) across Southeast Asia to foster innovation and growth across the region.
The Philippine government has set a goal to deploy a common tower network of over 50,000 towers with the aim of enhancing telecommunication services and meeting the rising demand for data connectivity.
This is the second spreadquarter facility opened to Aboitiz team members, after the UnionBank Innovation Campus in San Pedro, Laguna was launched last September 2022.
Aboitiz InfraCapital Inc. and its partner EdgeConneX said their initial data center will be located in proximity to the National Capital Region while a secondary hyperscale campus is planned to be located in the Greater Manila Area.
Now Corp. Telecom has signed a memorandum of understanding with Aboitiz InfraCapital (AIC) and Frontier Tower Associates (FTA) to discuss and negotiate the lease of build-to-suit sites, towers, and passive telecommunications infrastructure and facilities.
Aboitiz InfraCapital has signed an agreement with Frontier Tower Associates Philippines for the building and deployment of common towers in the country.
