Gaming brand Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) has officially signalled the arrival of the new gaming laptops equipped with AMD’s Ryzen 6000 series of processors in a digital launch event on Friday, June 3.
Asus said that all its new laptops from the updated product lines will feature 12th generation Intel Core H-series processors, or Ryzen 6000 H-series processor for AMD variants.
During its launch via a Facebook Live event, Asus highlighted the Vivobook 15 Oled’s 15.6-inch three-sided NanoEdge design that allows users to experience a new level of visuals with true-to-life colors and 178 degrees of viewing angle.
Consumer notebook vendor Asus is further cramming more power to an even thinner chassis with the local availability of its latest ZenBook series product – the ZenBook 14. This lightweight portable sports a 14” display and a compact design that includes a suite of ports - HDMI, Thunderbolt 4 USB-C, USB Type-A, and a MicroSD card reader.
Gaming sub-brand Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) partnered with music producer Alan Walker to introduce a new Zephyrus offering specifically marketed for creatives. The Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition (AW SE) laptop features a unique design, a custom ROG Remix sampler, and the AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS processor clocking at 3.1GHz.

The new Tiger Lake-H processors include five consumer and five commercial chips, with each bearing between six to eight cores. According to Intel, this series is meant for 30 upcoming ultraportable laptops and up to 80 workstations of different brands, including Asus.
