Sen. Risa Hontiveros has called on the Commission on Audit to review the Department of National Defense's (DND) 2020 spending on cybersecurity in light of the agency's proposed P500-million fund for the same category in 2021.
Defense secretary Delfin Lorenzana should rescind the deal that allows China-backed Dito Telecommunity to build cell sites inside Philippine military camps, Sen. Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan said.
DND secretary Delfin Lorenzana also said he is pushing for the passage of a law requiring the mandatory registration of SIM cards since a lot of improvised explosive devices in the southern part of the country are being detonated by cellphones.
