Bohol representative Alexie Tutor said standardizing the use of computer-generated images of crime suspects and persons of interest “must happen in our country about forensics, fighting crime, and criminal investigations.”
The Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) strengthens its enforcement capacity through a partnership with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and a project to develop its digital forensics capabilities.
The Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) said the Digital Forensics Platform and Laboratory (DFPAL) will serve as an important tool of the government’s fight against the rising cybercrimes, especially Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC).
