Indonesian cloud provider Biznet Gio said it has improved scalability and cost efficiency in its infrastructure after deploying AMD EPYC server processors, as demand for AI workloads strains existing hardware resources.
Chipmaker AMD has introduced its new EPYC Embedded 2005 Series processors, a compact line of chips designed for power- and space-constrained equipment such as networking gear, storage systems, and industrial devices that require continuous 24/7 operation.
AMD announced on Tuesday, May 21, the availability of the AMD EPYC 4004 Series processors that complement the existing AMD EPYC server CPU portfolio that deliver enterprise-class features and performance for small and medium businesses and hosted IT service providers.
