Filipino freelancers are enjoying a healthy influx of overseas clients, according to a recent joint white paper by US-based financial services company Payoneer and Philippine mobile payments provider GCash.
Demand for freelance jobs related to artificial intelligence (AI) is growing rapidly, according to Freelancer.com’s Fast 50 Report for the second quarter of 2019. These jobs include machine learning, statistical analysis, and data processing.
On average, nearly half of freelancers (48.5%) surveyed in these markets attributed payment issues to a prevailing attitude of not taking freelancers seriously.
