In a landmark victory for civic tech, the Philippine government is adopting BetterGov.PH as its official national portal. Unveiled at the BetterGov.PH Summit 2026 in Eastwood City, the new Gov.PH portal is being co-developed by the eGov team of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the Filipino open-source developer community.

A group loosely referred to as the “Startup PH guys” launched a website that aims to offer a “better” version of an existing government portal.

Gov.PH is now being rebuilt as a single website for government data, information, and online services.
