PC manufacturer Lenovo refreshed its business-grade offerings by bringing AMD Ryzen processors to two ThinkPad devices: The ThinkPad T14 and X13, in an attempt to boost work-from-home setups and enhance remote work functionality by bringing enterprise-level business computing at home.

The Lenovo ThinkStation P620 will carry the new processor, which boasts of 64 cores in a single CPU socket.

In an effort to increase brand awareness among local entrepreneurs, Lenovo Philippines is highlighting the business-grade features of the recently launched ThinkBook 15 laptop with the announcement of new brand ambassador -- beauty queen and dancer-turned-CEO for an eco-charcoal company Aya Fernandez.

Alongside the smartphone offerings, Lenovo is also introducing an array of smart home solutions and mobile accessories including an intelligent vacuum cleaner, smartwatches, tablets that double as a smart home control hub, earbuds, and a power bank.

For the time, however, Lenovo is allowing its customers to have the option for their laptops to be equipped with the AMD Ryzen 4000 H-series mobile processor instead.

At P59,995, the IdeaPad S540 isn’t cheap, but it does offer great specs and makes for a very functional, and highly capable, all-rounder sorta laptop.

For the full year 2019, the tablet market shrank 1.5% year-over-year as global shipments totaled 144 million units.
