Sibol, the Philippine team that will represent the country in the e-sports events of the 30th SEA Games, has announced the 27 athletes who will become members of the country’s contingent.
The sixth and final console game is undergoing evaluation and will be shortlisted in the coming weeks. The final medal count will include two medal events for PC games, two medal events for mobile games, and two medal events for console games. The games are gender inclusive and will be open to teams of both men and women to participate.
Electronic games, or e-sports, will be included in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games that will be hosted by the Philippines, with six gold medals at stake for two events each in computer, mobile, and console categories.
