Consumer tech brand TechLife has added two new devices to its growing product lineup in the Philippines: a 12-inch tablet designed for productivity and a pair of smartwatches aimed at casual users seeking affordable fitness and lifestyle features.
Along with the new series of smartphones, Samsung has officially launched its latest additions to the smartwatch market -- the Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic -- during the Galaxy Unpacked event.
Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Watch4 series, the Galaxy Watch5 devices will feature raised edges and sapphire crystal material for better protection against scratches, a more comfortable curve on the bottom part of the wearable that makes contact with the skin, and a 15% increase in battery life.
Garmin's Instinct E-sports Edition smartwatch, which is specifically targeted at the gaming industry, uses a dedicated e-sports activity function to track and analyze heart rate and stress during play, as well as offer long-term trend analysis.
The new Sense is considered by the brand as its most advanced health-oriented smartwatch yet. It features the first electrodermal activity (EDA) sensor to be equipped on a wearable, and detects small electrical changes on the skin surface. Fitbit said this function will help users manage their stress and identify which scenarios trigger it.
