Pres. Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has appointed Dr. Gay Jane P. Perez as director general of the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA), making her the agency’s second chief after its founding head, Joel Joseph Marciano Jr.
The Philippine space program is expected to drastically improve over the next few years with the approval of a Senate measure on third and final reading seeking to establish the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA).
