Called the Venture Capital and Private Equity Association of the Philippines (VCAP), the non-stock, non-profit corporation was the brainchild of ICCP SBI Venture Partners, Navegar, Endeavor Philippines, and Kickstart Ventures with support from Romulo Mabanta Buenaventura, Sayoc & de los Angeles Law.
