The Philippines is aiming to attract small and high technology investors to set up business in the country following the launch of the National Intellectual Property Strategy (NIPS) 2020-2025.

Trainings will be conducted in the Philippines and in the WIPO Academy in Geneva, Switzerland, where the WIPO headquarters is located.

The IPOPHL has launched the new IPOPHL Patent Search using the WIPO Publish platform, making available for public search all granted invention, as well as published and registered utility models, and industrial design applications.

WIPO director-general Francis Gurry celebrated World Intellectual Property Day in the Philippines -- a first in the 38 years of relations of the Philippines and WIPO.
