Silicon Valley firm enters PH, offers secure mobility solutions

Sunnyvale, California-based Good Technology recently marked its entry into the Philippines market, following the signing of an Asia-wide master distributor agreement with Westcon Solutions, part of the Westcon Group.

Apart from the Philippines, Westcon Solutions will distribute Good Technology?s solutions in other key Asian markets such as China (including Hong Kong), Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.

Good Technology?s secure collaboration solutions include Good?s applications for email, Personal Information Manager (PIM), browser, file sharing, instant messaging, as well as a broad ecosystem of third party applications.

Good?s Enterprise Mobility Management Platform allows enterprises and ISVs to build, manage, analyze and secure mobile applications.

David Cockerham, Asia Pacific channel director at Good Technology, commented: ?We are thrilled to take our collaboration with Westcon forward, and our entrance into the Philippine market would not have been possible without such a supportive partner. Philippines has enormous growth potential and we?re observing a strong trend where more businesses are adopting a mobile approach to further empower their workforce?.

Richard Salazar, sales manager at Westcon added, ?In the cloud or via applications, Good Technology really is the only viable option currently available to comprehensively secure iOS, Android and Windows Phone devices. As mobility increasingly becomes a reality for many IT departments in Asia, a secure mobile platform is critical to ensure that sensitive business data is not compromised.?

Good Technology provides more than 5,000 customers worldwide with government-grade security, which includes a FIPS 140-2-validated cryptographic module that utilizes AES-192 encryption for both data-at-rest as well as data-in-transit.

In March this year, the Australian government?s Defense Signals Directorate (DSD) endorsed Good for Enterprise to secure iOS devices up to and including ?Protected? level.

Customers in the Asia Pacific region include the likes of Bangkok Bank, Bank of New Zealand, Bank of Queensland, Bupa, Chio Lim Stone Forest, Corrs Chambers Westgarth and the Australian Government Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population & Communities.
