The partnership was formalized by Canon Philippines country manager Lim Kok Hin and MSI-ECS Philippines president Jimmy Go during a signing ceremony at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel in Makati City on Thursday, March 26.

With the deal, MSI-ECS will now tap its reseller network to sell Canon?s enterprise printers ? the imageRUNNER 1024, an entry-level A4 copier designed to meet small business office needs; and the imageRUNNER 2002, an entry-level A3 copier packed with an array of features including Remote Scanning, ID Card Copy, and image combination.

Canon said its multi-function devices allows users to do multiple tasks ? printing, copying, scanning, and faxing ? with just one machine, enabling them to produce more with minimal effort.

?This is what Canon is all about: Doing more, working less. Working harder usually means putting in more time and effort, which in turn creates additional stress. More time at work also means less time for yourself, for your family, and loved ones

?Canon allows you to fast track your work flow by providing technologies that let you accomplish simple jobs without having to jump from one machine to another, reducing the time and effort needed to get things done,? the company said.

The Japanese firm said its devices also use on-demand fixing technology that eliminates warm-up time, heating the fixing element only during priming for lower power costs.

The devices use environment-friendly laser technology and are made of recycled materials from recovered machines, and are constructed with less plastic than many other machines in the market, it added.

?In addition, its line of paper media has Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification, which promotes responsible management of the world?s forests, advancing environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable methods.?
