Local operator Smart Communications has unveiled an exclusive package of an iPad Mini 2 with 1.7 gigabytes (GB) of data at only P599 a month.
Jaja de Salva, a senior manager handling Smart Broadband under Smart Communications, said during a recent media launch in Makati City that subscribers of Smart Bro Plan P299 only has to add P300 monthly to avail themselves of the iPad Mini 2 bundle.
“This is an exciting news for our millions of our subscribers, especially those who want to have their own iPad Mini. It comes with a monthly internet service and they can pay it in 36 months,” said de Salva.
Aside from the free 1.7 gigabytes of data, the offer also carries a bonus of free 1.1GB of video streaming on YouTube, iFlix, Dailymotion, and Vimeo for the first three months, said de Salva.
The mobile firm has been traveling across the country for its ongoing ?Brokada? caravan ? in which Smart Bro’s iPad Mini 2 is a part — accompanied by celebrities, including beauty queens MJ Lastimosa and Ms. International 2013 Bea Santiago; athletes Gretchen Ho, Michelle and Mark Gumabao; and singers Michael Pangilinan and Christian Bautista.
So far, Smart’s Brokada trip has already made stopovers in Manila, Baguio, Bohol, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu and Ilocos. In the pipeline is the Brokada trips to other major cities across the country, such as Olongapo, Zamboanga, Bulacan, and Iloilo. — Edd K. Usman
