Unboxing: HTC’s first ‘phablet’

Taiwanese tech firm HTC, which is under siege from rivals in the fiercely competitive smartphone industry, recently showcased its HTC Butterfly to the local IT media.

The company?s first ?phablet? (combination of phone and tablet), the unit is already available in HTC Concept Stores for a suggested retail price of P32,000.

The HTC Butterfly?s slim body sports a 1.5 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon S4 processor and 440 ppi full-HD “Super LCD 3” panel. It also features crisp sound from its built-in Beats Audio Technology.

The HTC Buttefly?s 8-megapixel rear camera and 2.1 megapixel front camera allow users to capture high-quality photos, regardless of lighting conditions.
