A local hacking news site reported on Thursday, Aug. 1, that the websites of two Metro Manila private schools and the municipality of Talibon, Bohol were defaced by a local hacker who goes by the name ?Hitman?, said to be the co-founder of the hacking crew Pinoy Vendetta.

PinoyHackerNews said the Lyceum of Alabang and La Consolacion University of the Philippines were defaced by Hitman who simply posted the message ?Secure your site Admin?.

The hacking site said Hitman was also responsible for the defacement of the official website of the municipality of Talibon, Bohol.

?The deface page used by Hitman [was] identical to those? used on the educational institution[s],? the site reported.

PinoyHackerNews pointed out that the LGU shared the same server with the two comprised school sites. It, thus, warned that 170 other sites which are hosted on the same server could be attacked as well.
