Last week, a “system upgrade” caused problems in inventory deliveries to Jollibee stores, and even outright shutdown of 72 stores. Certainly, the defects in the current Jollibee project would have been cheaper had they been found during development, rather than during production, where they are now costing Jollibee millions of pesos a day.
The global healthcare information technology industry is estimated to be growing at a steady 10-percent year-on-year growth and is expected to hit $162 billion in 2015. A huge portion of this goes to outsourced healthcare information management and leading the charge is the United States.
