Lawrence Lim, regional general manager of EnGenius in Singapore, said their goal is to help SMEs achieve new standards of ease and productivity using the company’s Neutron Series of wireless management products.

Lim recommends the solution to SMEs who are looking to deploy, monitor, and manage numerous access points (AP) from one simple and accessible browser-based platform.

Among Neutron Series’s main capabilities is its centralized management and quick and easy set-up.

“You don’t need an IT expert because it is easy to install and configure,” Lim said. “We are targeting hotels and resorts, schools and universities, corporate campuses, sports stadiums, and other types of enterprise-size organizations.”

Among the enterprise class features of Neutron Series are Load Balancing Management, and Bandwidth Control Management. The former is used for traffic shaping and client limitation, while the latter is for instance band steering to relieve congestion and overcrowding on the mainstream 2.4GHz frequency wireless network by pushing the client to connect to the less congested 5GHz network.

Lim said that unlike other enterprise-level wireless management platforms that come with recurring subscription or licensing costs, the EnGenius Wireless Management Solution “has no hidden cost.”

Included in the Neutron Series are wireless management switches, wireless management access points, and remote monitoring and management.
