Homegrown computer firm Redfox, a manufacturer and distributor of computer desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripherals, announced it has opened a new business unit, YKP Redfox Educational Center, last Oct. 25.
The new facility is intended to handle the development and delivery of industry-based ICT skills and professional development training seminars and consultancy services in the following areas:
1. eServices
2. Teaching with technology
3. ICT for entrepreneurship
4. Tesda ICT trainings and certifications (2015)
5. Local and international ICT professional certifications (2015)
YKP Redfox Educational Center is located at the 4th floor 1465 Golden Building E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue in Quezon City, which is accessible via private and public transport through the Cubao and Quiapo areas.
The soft launch also marked the holding of two free training seminars — ?Teaching with Technology Primer? and ?How to Set Up a Computer Service Center Primer? — that attracted participants from the education and IT sectors.
The educational center is expected to go on full commercial operation in January 2015 with the holding of regular training seminars that would cater to the training needs of the information technology, education and the government sector.
The YKP Redfox Educational Center can also be used for third-party seminar trainings and activities.
